Haunt Me sprang from the restless mind of vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Darius Davila, who launched the project in February 2021. After releasing early material that same year, Davila recruited longtime collaborator and keyboardist Hilario Bautista, later completing the live trio lineup with bassist Nicholas Devora. Operating in the shadows of romantic darkwave and driving post-punk, Haunt Me crafts a brooding sonic alchemy. Their music shifts effortlessly from raw, jagged guitar edges to a cold, hypnotic electronic pulse. Drawing inspiration from 80s legends and contemporary dark-alternative acts, the band aims to create music that listeners can both weep and dance to—offering a late-night refuge of dark romance and deep introspection. Following a string of acclaimed EPs and international attention—including groundbreaking multilingual releases—the band released their sophomore full-length album, Watch You Bleed, cementing their place in the modern post-punk landscape.
